I had a great experience over the Christmas holiday season. Aside from the travel delays due to snow, it was fantastic to be back in the homeland. I had a lot of fun photography experiences, too, including my son’s first Christmas and getting some wonderful portraits of friends and family in the cold, snowy weather.
Most importantly, I was contacted by an old friend of mine and asked to do a wedding on fairly short notice. I jumped at the chance! It was a small affair with just a few family members and the registrar, so the gathering felt so intimate and personal. It was a true honor to be asked to join them on their special day.
I’m especially pleased with some of the outdoor portraits I did. I’m so sorry for making the bride and groom stand outside in the cold, but I think the results are incredible and the sacrifice was worth it. I hope you treasure these shots for years to come!
The shots themselves are great and the whole experience was a lot of fun. Does this mean we will be accepting more wedding requests in the future? Stay tuned!
The gathering was small – just ten guests! Everyone involved was a close, personal relation to the bride and groom. It really felt like a privilege to attend!
The weather was clear and sunny, but it was freezing outside. The bride and groom were incredibly accommodating, but we had to work quickly for our comfort’s sake!
Thank you so much for inviting me to witness your union!
